Kahn saw his powers increased by killing Blaze, and is currently engaged in a Kombat with Raiden, where he easily wins and mocks the Lightning God, thereby destroying his Amulet. Only two Kombatants survived: Raiden, the God of Lightning and Shao Kahn, the Emperor of the Underworld. The story begins with the aftermath of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, where almost all of the Kombatters were killed. The success was there and it resulted in several sequels, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3 and its improved opuses. This bringing more realism, Midway, the American development company, did not stop there by bringing a trash and bloodthirsty atmosphere to their software. First thing remarkable about this time: the game uses real filmed sequences of actors for the design of the characters, breaking directly with the usual graphics of a video game. In August 1992, a combat video game called Mortal Kombat was released in the arcade.
